White Rock Campus caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. It boasts a state-of-the-art STEM Centre, expansive grounds and ovals, an indoor multipurpose hall, a performing arts centre and an aquatic centre with an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

Our community is dedicated to the education, wellbeing and development of our students. We also ensure that the values of our school – perseverance, integrity, compassion and curiosity – are instilled in every student who walks through our gates.

TAS White Rock Campus – Primary
The culturally rich community of TAS White Rock is the perfect environment for your child to develop their full potential. From academic success to encouraging positive interpersonal skills, the team at White Rock are committed to helping your child shine.

Primary school is a pivotal time in a child’s life as they start to gain independence, improve their social skills and develop a love of learning. At TAS, your child’s love of learning will be cultivated by talented and engaging educators who will inspire your child’s innate sense of curiosity.

Supported by a technology-rich environment, our learning program ensures that students walk away with skills and knowledge that are above and beyond the Australian Curriculum. Throughout primary school, students also have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular, extracurricular and service activities to further develop their interests, build resilience and grow as individuals.

Care and Connect

Resilience, empathy, kindness and support are all essential life-long qualities children need. At Trinity Anglican ÑÇÖÞ³ÉÈËÍø, we believe these qualities are worth investing time in, so we have developed a specialty wellbeing Program called Care and Connect.

As a compulsory program, Care and Connect gathers students in multi-age groupings from Years 3 to 6. This grouping approach nurtures healthy social skills and encourages students to develop relationships with peers from other grades within their community.

During their weekly Care and Connect session, students rotate through several engaging modules, each comprising a four-week activities program.

At its core, the program is centered on a holistic approach to education which focuses on holistic education that looks beyond academia and supports personal development.

Chess

At Trinity Anglican ÑÇÖÞ³ÉÈËÍø, we run one of the strongest chess programs in Australia. In fact, approximately 60% of the student body participates in lessons and tournaments and taking lessons. Not only does chess bring students together, but it also helps them develop confidence, solve problems and learn how to regulate their emotions.

Our girls are empowered to develop a love of chess through the Girls’ Chess Club, which meets one lunchtime a week to play chess, listen to pop songs and eat snacks.

TAS often plays against other schools in the Cairns region and South East Queensland to enhance the benefits of chess and develop relationships with like-minded students from other schools.

TAS White Rock Campus – Secondary
The TAS Academic Program addresses the needs of students who will continue to live their lives in the 21st century. The interconnectedness of global networks requires a special skill set.

The fourth industrial revolution is well underway – and it is paving the way for radical disruption in almost every industry. The workplace as we know it is changing and becoming more dynamic, and a greater emphasis is being placed on technology and automation.

At TAS, students develop the capacity to adapt and thrive in any future environment. This is achieved through classroom and extracurricular activities that promote confidence, problem-solving skills and perseverance.

This approach to secondary schooling fosters an innovative spirit and entrepreneurial capacity that prepares students for the workplace and beyond.

Pastoral Care
The Pastoral Care Program at Trinity Anglican ÑÇÖÞ³ÉÈËÍø provides students with the opportunity to think meaningfully about the world in which they live.

The program challenges students to reflect carefully on themselves, their beliefs and the beliefs of others. Students are provided with a learning environment in which they feel safe and confident to express their beliefs, whatever those beliefs may be, within the context of the Anglican ethos of the school.

Each student is placed in one of the four houses when they begin their journey at TAS. These houses not only form the basis of the Pastoral Care and Interhouse Activity Program, but they also assign the student to a tutor group. Each group is allocated a tutor who is in daily contact with the students and builds a relationship with them to ensure they have a support network.

TAS White Rock Early Learning Centre
Located on the grounds of the TAS White Rock Campus, students attending our Early Learning Centre benefit from the extensive resources and facilities of the integrated primary school.

At White Rock ELC, our curriculum is underpinned by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG), which is built upon the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

These frameworks are approved by the Australian Government and adopt the vision that ‘all children experience learning that is engaging and builds success for life’.

The EYLF highlights five key areas of learning that are essential to children’s development and explored during their Kindergarten year. They include:

  • Identity
  • Connectedness
  • Wellbeing
  • Active Learning
  • Communicating.
